How It Started

I was about ten when I started tagging along on jobs with my dad. Most kids that age were doing other things on weekends. I was holding tools, watching how he talked to people, seeing what it meant to care about the work itself, not just finishing and moving on. School breaks and summers, I was there. By the time I hit twenty, it made sense to do this together as partners.

We had a good run, but eventually I needed to build something of my own. So I split off and started this business a couple years back. And here's the thing about learning from someone you respect—you carry it with you. After running things solo, we realized we worked better together, so we partnered up again. This time, though, I have real ownership and a real voice in how we do things. That matters.

What We've Learned
